THEODOR ALPHONS (Austrian /
1860-1897)
Theodor Alphons was born in Krakow, and died in Graz. He studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Art under von Lichtenfels, and the printmaker Sonnenleiter. He pursued his etching studies under the greatest German etcher of his day, William Unger.
