IDBURY PRINTS

The galante style derives from the elegant eroticism of eighteenth-century French painters such as Fragonard and Boucher. It has proved a persistent element of French erotica, in the hands of artists such as Amandine Doré, Denis Volx, and Paul-Émile Bécat.
