IDBURY PRINTS

Classical mythology has been a prime subject of western art since the Renaissance, and artists gained a new perspective on it in the twentieth century through the theories of Freud and Jung. Our holdings include a wonderful series of copper engravings on the theme of Demeter and Persephone by Roger Vieillard, and etchings, wood engravings, and original drawings by Marianne Clouzot.
