Original etching by Wladyslaw Jahl. Printed on vélin de Lana by the taille-doucier Charles Sapoulin, on the hand presses of Georges Leblanc. From the print portfolio Don Quichotte, published by Éditions Jeanne Castel in an edition of 125 copies (5 on Japon, 15 on Arches, and the rest on Lana). This comes from copy 50. Each etching comes as a four page section: the first page has a relevant extract from Don Quixote, page 2 is blank, page 3 is the etching, and page 4 is blank. To frame the etching, the first folio needs to be either folded back or simply cut free. The titles given are taken from the extracts. Condition: Excellent.
