Original etching by Ernst Pickardt, hand-signed in pencil at the bottom right. Printed on handmade wove paper by Carl Sabo in Berlin. One of four etchings inspired by Paul Ernst's story Das spitzenbesetzte Wäschestück contributed by Pickardt to the Summer 1919 issue (Sechstes Heft) of the journal Marsyas, edited by Theodor Tagger. There were 200 copies printed on handgeschöpftem Bütten (as this), and 35 on Kaiserlich Japan. Only this etching is hand-signed. Very fresh and clean with one handling crease in the lower margin. Condition: Excellent, see description.
