PIERRE BONNARD – Au Théatre, 1952
Sheet size: 243 x 314 mm
Image size: 140 x 280 mm
Edition: Size of edition unknown – Unsigned
In 1952, Bonnard's trusted printer Fernand Mourlot re-created Bonnard's lithographic oeuvre, using the same technique, the same number of stones, and the same colours as the originals, for a catalogue raisonné by Claude Roger-Marx. While these lithographs are reproductions not originals, they are very beautiful in their own right. Lithograph in four colours, first published in 1899 in an edition of 100 in the series Some Scenes of Parisian Life. Original size 200 x 400 mm. Condition: Fine.
