Original etching by Gustave Greux after the painting by Théodore Rousseau, with printed credits and the drypoint signature of Greux below. Printed on Japan paper. As published in The Barbizon School by David Croal Thomson, which was published in an edition of 280 copies by Chapman and Hall in 1890. The etchings for this work were printed quite separately from the letterpress, but the name of the printer is not given. This etching was originally commissioned by Durand-Ruel for his Receuil d'Estampes in 1873. Condition: Excellent
